You may be surprised, but the recipe for chicken liver pate is ridiculously simple. The main ingredients are fried until tender, then seasoned with spices and salt. At the end, everything is traditionally ground with a blender.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 500 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Ghee - 2 tbsp.l .
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp.l .
- Nutmeg - at the tip of the knife
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse chicken liver thoroughly under running water.
Heat the melted butter in a frying pan, lay out the liver and fry for 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until transparent.
Pour the fried onion into the pan with the liver, add salt, spices and cook everything together for another 5 minutes.
Transfer to a suitable bowl and puree with an immersion blender until smooth.
