If you count calories, stick to fasting or have embarked on a vegetarian path, this recipe will come in handy. Lean hot sandwiches with tomatoes are a hearty and simple snack that anyone can easily prepare.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 150 g
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Basil - a couple of twigs

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel tomatoes, cut into small cubes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the chopped garlic and fry for 30 seconds.

Add tomatoes and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.

Turn off the heat, add salt, pepper and finely chopped basil.

Brown the bread separately for a couple of minutes in a dry frying pan.

Put the vegetable stock on bread and bake for 3 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
