There are dozens of different ways to make cherry jam. There is simply no classic recipe here, because every housewife has her own secrets. And today I will share my own with you. And I suggest making jam with whole halves of berries.

Ingredients

  • Cherry - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the cherry, and disassemble into halves, removing the bones.

Cover it with sugar, pour in water and bring to a boil.

Cook the jam for 30 minutes on low heat, add citric acid and roll it into sterile jars.
