Caucasian cuisine is famous for a wide variety of vegetable dishes. But today I would like to stop at the recipe of pepper in Armenian for the winter. The preparation can be added to soups, stews and sauces, served instead of salad or snacks to hot drinks.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 2 kg
- Garlic - 100 g
- Black Pepper - 10 peas
- Allspice - 4 peas
- Vinegar - 180 ml
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 200 ml
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - 50 g
- Water - 1,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the bell pepper in half, peel the seeds and chop.
Peel the garlic from the husk and cut into large pieces.
Boil water, add sugar, salt, oil and spices.
Add the bell pepper, garlic and boil for 5 minutes. For convenience, divide the vegetables into two or three cooks.
Fish out the pepper with a slotted spoon and put it in the prepared jars.
Mix the remaining boiling liquid with vinegar and pour into jars.
Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it up well.
