Probably, there is no such person who, while visiting Ikea, did not buy a jar of popular lingonberry jam. You can also cook your favorite delicacy yourself. To do this, you will need a gelfix, gelatin or ordinary apple pectin.
Ingredients
- Lingonberries - 1 kg
- Yellowfix - 25 g
- Sugar - 500 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort out the lingonberries, rinse under running water and put them on a towel to dry.
Pour the berries into a saucepan and lightly mash with a masher. Approximately half of the lingonberries should remain intact.
Gelfix mix with half the sugar.
Bring the lingonberries to a boil, pour in the dry billet, stir and boil for 1 minute.
Add the remaining sugar and cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
Fill clean dry jars with jam, close the lids and wrap them with a warm towel for a day.
