Once in the process of thinking about what to cook from salted mackerel, I decided to make a pate out of it. And the result unexpectedly exceeded all expectations. That's why I want to share this recipe with you today.
Ingredients
- Mackerel (salty) – 4 pieces
- White bread - 100 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Walnuts - 0.3 glasses
- Apples - 1 piece
- Greenery - 4 twigs
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Butter - 3 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Milk - 0.5 glasses
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the fillet from the mackerel and soak it in milk for half an hour.
Soak bread in milk too.
Chop the onion and fry until soft.
Peel and slice the apple.
Boil hard-boiled eggs.
Chop the greens and walnuts.
Put all the ingredients through a meat grinder or grind with a blender.
Season the pate to taste.
