There are surprisingly many varieties of pate. The snack is made from liver, meat, vegetables and mushrooms. Today I would like to elaborate on the rabbit meat pate. An exquisite snack can be served on a festive table or cooked just like that.

Ingredients

  • Rabbit - 1,5 kg
  • Potatoes - 200 g
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - 2 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Chop the rabbit, peeled potatoes and onions.

Put everything in a deep saucepan, add bay leaf, water and cook for 40 minutes on low heat.

Put the meat on a plate, cool slightly and separate from the bones.

Place boiled vegetables and rabbit meat in the blender bowl. Grind to a homogeneous consistency.

Add salt, ground pepper and mix again. If the pate is thick, add a little of the remaining broth.
