The lack of vinegar or lemon is not a reason to give up Korean carrots at all. Prepare your favorite snack with citric acid! It should be pre-mixed with oil, and added to carrots already in the form of sour marinade.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the carrots and grate them on a grater for Korean carrots.

Add salt, spices and mix, carefully kneading the carrots with your hands.

In a separate container, mix the oil, citric acid, sugar and garlic passed through the press. Stir so that the sugar and acid crystals have time to dissolve.

Pour the resulting marinade into the carrots and mix well. Cover tightly and refrigerate for two hours.
