Hummus is prepared on the basis of boiled chickpeas, lemon juice and tahini paste. Various additives are also used, which give the snack an interesting taste and color. Try hummus with avocado! It is not only beautiful and delicious, but also very useful.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas (dry) – 400 g
  • Avocado - 2 pieces
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tahini - 50 g
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Lemon juice - 50 ml
  • Zira - 1 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pre-soak the chickpeas for 12 hours.

Change the water, bring to a boil and simmer for 1.5 hours.

Peel the avocado, cut it into large pieces and put it in a blender.

Add boiled chickpeas, cumin, ground pepper, salt and peeled garlic cloves. Grind the mass until smooth.

Add lemon juice, butter, tahini and continue to beat for another 2-3 minutes at high speed.

Bring the finished hummus to the salt and spices.
