Green tomatoes are often sold in stores. Sometimes they are not sharp enough, and sometimes they are too salty. Let's cook them ourselves with Korean carrots, choosing the perfect amount of spices and salt!
Ingredients
- Green tomatoes - 500 g
- Carrots - 300 g
- Radish - 100 g
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Greenery (any) – a couple of twigs
- Adjika - 2 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Apple cider vinegar - 3 art.l.
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the green tomatoes into small slices.
Grate carrots and radishes on a special grater. Chop the greens.
Mix carrots, radish, herbs, salt and sugar. Slightly mash with your hands so that the vegetables let the juice.
Add green tomatoes, vinegar, ground red pepper and mix again.
Finely chop the red pepper.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add pepper and turn it off after 10-15 seconds.
Pour the hot oil with pepper into the carrots, add the adjika, garlic passed through the press and mix everything well again. Cover with a lid and put in the refrigerator for a day.
