Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 1 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Radish - 200 g
- Garlic - 10 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 30 ml
- Vinegar - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Divide the cabbage into leaves, cut into large pieces.
Put it in a bowl, pour 1.5 liters of boiling water and put it aside for 20 minutes.
Chop the peeled garlic, radish and hot pepper in a blender.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Fry the onion in oil until golden brown.
Add tomato paste, stir and immediately remove from heat.
Put the cabbage in a colander.
Boil 500 ml of water, add sugar, salt, fried onions and a billet with hot pepper.
Turn off the heat, pour in the vinegar and stir.
Put the cabbage in the prepared container, pour the spicy marinade.
Cover with a double layer of gauze and refrigerate for 48 hours.
