A simple recipe for which you will need a regular meat grinder. The juice from the chokeberry is necessarily prepared with the addition of water, since the berries themselves are quite dry. As for sugar, it is better to focus on your taste here.
Ingredients
- Chokeberry - 1 kg
- Sugar - to taste
- Water (filtered) – 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chokeberry and put it in the freezer for 1 day.
Pass frozen berries through a meat grinder.
Fold the resulting mass into cheesecloth and squeeze well.
Boil the water, add the remaining cake and boil for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and set aside to cool.
Strain, add sugar and concentrated juice.
Bring to a boil again, boil for 1 minute and turn off the heat. The ready-made juice from the chokeberry should be cooled before serving.
