The light smell of a campfire always whets the appetite and is associated with a cheerful company. But in addition to shish kebab, you can cook many other interesting dishes - for example, herring under a fur coat. From vegetables on the grill, it turns out just delicious!
Ingredients
- Herring (low salt) – 2 pieces
- Beetroot (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Potatoes (not large) – 350 g
- Carrots - 3 pieces
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 250 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the herring, gut and cut into small pieces.
Cut the beetroot into plates, put it on the grill and heat it on the grill for 10 minutes. Wrap the carrots and potatoes in foil, hide them in the heat and cook for 15 minutes.
Chop the onion with a knife, grate the vegetables and eggs on a coarse grater.
Place the potatoes and carrots in layers on a wide plate. Pepper, salt and smear with mayonnaise.
Add onion, herring and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with eggs, salt and pepper.
Make the top layer of lettuce from beetroot, pepper, salt, add mayonnaise and sprinkle thickly with eggs.
Put it in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours so that the salad is thoroughly soaked.
