There are several apple trees of different varieties growing in our garden. They begin to harvest in the middle of July and finish in October. For this reason, I quite often cook compote from fresh apples. My family drinks it instead of tea after meals and just like that.
Ingredients
- Apples - 600 g
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Lemon juice - 3 tbsp.l .
- Water (filtered) – 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Prepare apples, peel from seeds, chop.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and mix.
Boil the water, add the apples and cook for 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add sugar and stir. Cover the apple compote under the lid for 15-20 minutes.
