For the first time I cooked such a compote by pure chance. Well, how else could apricots and juniper be in the same pot? But it turned out so well that since then I regularly repeat this experiment at the first opportunity.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the apricots and pour them with juniper water.
Bring the compote to a boil, add sugar and stir.
Add the orange juice and zest, and cook for another 10 minutes.
