Ingredients

  • Mackerel - 4 pieces
  • Bay leaf - 4 pieces
  • Allspice - 3 peas
  • Coriander (in grains) – 0.5 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil (odorless) – 200 ml
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - 1 art.l.
  • Water - 2 glasses

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the mackerel, gut it, remove the tail and head.

Cut the fish into small pieces and put it in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

Add spices, sugar, salt, water and oil.

Boil for 15 minutes on medium heat, and then reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer for another 2 hours.

Arrange the hot canned food in sterilized jars, roll it up and wrap it with a thick towel for a day.
