My grandmother dried various fruits and berries in the sun. In winter, drinks and delicious filling for pies were prepared from them. Most of all, for some reason, I remember the compote of dried apples. Its wonderful aroma and delicate taste have been stored in the memory forever.
Ingredients
- Apples (dried) – 200 g
- Sugar - 150 g
- Water (filtered) – 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the dried apples in a colander and rinse with boiling water.
Put the dried fruits in a saucepan, pour cold water and boil for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Turn off the heat, cover and cool to room temperature.
Strain the compote, add sugar and mix well.
