A little spice turns a simple apricot compote into almost a work of art. And the main thing here is a great way to show imagination and experiment a little. For inspiration, I share my favorite ingredients.
Ingredients
- Apricots - 800 g
- Brown Sugar - 7 art.l.
- Water - 1.5-2 l
- Cinnamon - 2 sticks
- Star anise - 2 asterisks
- Cardamom - 2 boxes
- Ground ginger - 2 pinches
- Hot red pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water with sugar and add all the spices. Boil for a minute.
Disassemble the apricots into halves and send them into the water.
Bring the compote to a boil again and boil for 10-15 minutes.
