The main trump card of this dish is chicken fat. It is he who gives the same taste and aroma. Accompanied by spices, pilaf turns out so appetizing that it is simply impossible to resist. Cook more at once: your household will probably ask for an additive.
Ingredients
- Mutton - 400 g
- Chicken fat - 150 g
- Brown rice - 2 glasses
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Carrots - 150 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 heads
- Zira - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water (boiling water) – 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop lamb, chicken fat, carrots, peeled onions and bell peppers.
Cut the hot pepper in half, peel the seeds and finely chop.
Turn on the "Frying" mode, pour in the fat and wait until it is heated.
Add onion, carrot and fry for 3-5 minutes.
Add the lamb, spices and continue frying for 12-15 minutes.
Add Bulgarian and hot pepper, cook for another 10 minutes.
Stick whole garlic heads into the mass of vegetables and meat.
Add the washed rice, salt and hot water.
Close the lid and cook on the "Pilaf" mode for 1 hour.
