Milk goes well with corn groats, so there are quite a lot of soups based on them. I offer a proven and simple option for every day, which I usually cook for breakfast. Serve it with sugar or vice versa – with herbs and spices.
Ingredients
- Corn groats - 100 g
- Milk - 500 ml
- Water - 600 ml
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Butter - 30 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the corn grits, pour water, bring to a boil and cook for about half an hour over low heat.
Add salt, pour in milk and boil again.
Add the butter, stir the soup and remove from the heat.
