Today I want to share with you a recipe for jam, which can rightfully be called royal. It needs ordinary gooseberries, preferably green, and a few oranges. Otherwise, it is prepared very simply and quickly – then I will tell you how.
Ingredients
- Orange - 2 pieces
- Gooseberry - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Vanillin - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut off the gooseberry tails. Wash the oranges, scald with boiling water and chop. Remove the bones.
Put everything through a meat grinder or grind it with a blender. Add sugar and leave for half an hour.
Bring the jam to a boil and cook for another half hour on low heat.
Add the vanilla, mix the jam and roll it into clean, dry jars.
