I have always loved sauerkraut for its rich taste and versatility. Today I want to share with you my favorite recipe – sauerkraut with tomatoes. Simple, fast, very convenient, and besides, it will immediately decorate any feast, including holidays.

Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots and mash them with your hands. Mix with sugar and salt.
Tamp everything into a jar, shifting tomatoes.
Cover with a whole cabbage leaf and leave for 3 days at room temperature.
Pierce the workpiece to the bottom every day.
When fermentation is over, cover the cabbage with a lid and store it in the cellar or refrigerator.
