In cooking, blackthorn is very similar to a plum, and it's not for nothing that they are the closest relatives. That is why you can cook excellent Georgian tkemali from blackthorn for meat, potatoes, chicken and other main dishes. I advise you to roll the sauce into small jars for convenience.

Ingredients

  • Turn - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 2 art.l.
  • Salt - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Chili pepper - 2 pieces
  • Garlic - 4 clove
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
  • Water - 100 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pick the blackthorn, add water and simmer for 15 minutes.

Grind it through a sieve. Chop the chili and garlic.

Mix all the ingredients and boil the tkemali for another 7 minutes after boiling.

Roll it up in sterilized jars.
