Classic kvass was prepared in monasteries. It was a refreshing bread drink, which also turned out to be very useful. Later, they began to add all kinds of additives to it, but today I propose to cook the same old kvass without sugar. At the same time, it will appeal to the adherents of the PP.
Ingredients
- Black Bread - 700 g
- Water - 3 l
- Fructose - 1 tbsp.l .
- Raisins - 50 g
- Dry yeast - 5 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the bread into pieces and dry it in the oven or in a dry frying pan.
Put the breadcrumbs in a clean, dry jar, add fructose and pour boiling water.
Let the workpiece cool down a little, add yeast and mix.
Leave the workpiece for 6-8 hours in a warm place.
Strain the kvass, add the raisins and leave it for another 5-6 hours.
Strain the drink again and bottle it.
