To make a fragrant, spicy, refreshing Moroccan tea, you will need green tea and a lot of fresh mint. Traditional Moroccan tea should be very sweet, but you can always adjust the amount of sugar at your discretion.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour 1 tablespoon of green tea into the teapot, pour 200 ml of boiling water. Cover the teapot with a lid and let the tea brew for 3-5 minutes.
Remove the mint leaves from the twigs and place them in a larger teapot. Add sugar and pour 200 ml of boiling water. Cover the teapot with a lid, after 20-30 seconds add another 200 ml of boiling water and leave the drink to infuse for 2 minutes.
Pour brewed green tea into a teapot with mint and infuse the drink for another 2-3 minutes.
Put one small sprig of mint in transparent glasses and pour a hot drink. Moroccan tea is ready!
