When a blizzard is circling outside the window, and the evenings become unbearably long, it's time to prepare fragrant and warming drinks. I like to cook delicious jelly from frozen berries with starch. Its wonderful fragrance is reminiscent of summer.
Ingredients
- Frozen berries - 300 g
- Starch - 4 art.l.
- Sugar - 150 g
- Water (purified) – 2,2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost the berries at room temperature and mash thoroughly

Strain the compote to remove the seeds and peel of the berries.
Add sugar and bring to a boil again.
Separately mix the starch with cold water.
Pour the preform with starch into the boiling compote, stirring continuously.
