Classic kvass is a bread drink, but very quickly the recipe was overgrown with all sorts of variations. Each hostess has her own secrets. I love to try any unusual kvass, so today I will share my favorite recipe based on larch.
Ingredients
- Water - 3 l
- Sour cream (bold) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Select about 7 young branches of larch.
Tear off the needles, rinse, scald with boiling water and let it drain.
Put the needles in a clean, dry jar.
Add water, sugar and sour cream. Cover the jar with gauze.
Leave the workpiece in a warm place for fermentation. Stir every day.
After 3-4 days, to taste, strain the kvass and bottle it.
