In French cuisine, they like to use unusual flavor combinations. For example, orange sauce is often served with meat. Its bright color, refreshing aroma and unusual sweet and sour taste turn even a mediocre dish into a real masterpiece.

Ingredients

  • Orange - 3 pieces
  • Lemon - half
  • Wine (white) – 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the oranges and white films, chop them in a blender.

Mix the resulting mass with wine, oil, pepper and sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.

Squeeze out the lemon juice, add salt and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
