With this sauce, any dish will be satisfying. In Italy, it is prepared with various smoked meats, sheep cheese or parmesan. Sometimes tomatoes, garlic or onions are excluded. Recipes are always different, original, but very tasty! I offer my version of an appetizing amatricana.
Ingredients
- Smoked Meat (brisket) – 100 g
- Bacon - 100 g
- Tomatoes (ripe) – 400 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Basil (ground) – 1 tsp.
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel tomatoes, slice and sprinkle with salt.
Finely chop the bacon, smoked brisket and peeled onion.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the bacon, brisket and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add onion, tomatoes, ground pepper and salt. Simmer the sauce under the lid for 20-25 minutes.
Add the basil and garlic passed through the press. After 5 minutes, the fire can be turned off.
