Delicious Spanish sauce was invented by fishermen, so initially it was served only with seafood. In modern cooking, romesco sauce is seasoned with a wide variety of dishes. Quite often it is used as a dip for potatoes baked in slices.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 200 g
- Bell pepper - 200 g
- Hot red pepper - half a string
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Almond petals - 3 art.l.
- Wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Olive oil - 80 ml
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water (boiled) – 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put tomatoes, Bulgarian and hot pepper in a dry frying pan, fry on both sides until black.
Put the vegetables in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 15 minutes.
Separate the vegetable pulp from the seeds, peel and films.
Place vegetable slices, almond petals and peeled garlic cloves in the blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
Add salt, ground pepper, vinegar, oil, water and turn on the blender for another 1 minute.
