Any meat products, literally any, go into the hodgepodge. And giblets are no exception at all. Therefore, I suggest at least once to try to make such an option. It's not only delicious, but also very, very budget-friendly.
Ingredients
- Chicken - 500 g
- Chicken stomachs - 200 g
- Chicken hearts - 200 g
- Semi-smoked sausage - 150 g
- Pickled cucumbers - 100 g
- Onion - 60 g
- Tomato paste - 30 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Olives - 1 handful
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the stomachs until soft for about 2 hours. An hour later, add the hearts. Then take out and cut the giblets with sausage.
Separately boil a piece of chicken and cut it too. Return it back to the broth with giblets and sausage. Cook for 10 minutes.
Finely chop the onion, carrot and pepper. Fry until soft. Add the tomato and fry for another 5 minutes.
Separately fry cucumbers.
Randomly chop the olives and send all the ingredients to the hodgepodge.
Cook the hodgepodge for 15-20 minutes.
