Surely you have seen meat with a shiny caramel crust in restaurants more than once. It is easy to achieve this result if you add teriyaki sauce when frying. You can buy it in the store, but it is better and cheaper to cook at home. I share a proven recipe.
Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Soy sauce - 200 ml
- Balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Honey - 2 tbsp.l .
- Olive oil - 3 art.l.
- Starch - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground ginger - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
In a small saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, sugar, ground ginger, oil and vinegar.
Add the garlic passed through the press and boil for 1.5-2 minutes.
Mix starch with water and pour a thin stream into the boiling sauce, stirring continuously.
Boil the teriyaki sauce over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
