Today we will delve into Azerbaijani cuisine and prepare pomegranate sauce for duck. The recipe is incredibly simple, but it can also be made easier by using ready-made pomegranate juice. Since butter is present in the composition, the sauce should be served warm.

Ingredients

  • Garnet - 1 kg
  • Butter - 30 g
  • Starch - 1,5 tbsp.l .
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Nutmeg - 0,5 tsp.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the pomegranate, disassemble it into seeds and pass it through a juicer.

Mix cold juice with starch and bring to a boil over low heat.

Add sugar, salt, spices, oil and boil for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
