A delicious combination of sour taste, tartness and alluring aroma. For me, gooseberry sauce is about haute cuisine and bold decisions. Even an ordinary steak, seasoned with a berry additive, turns into an exquisite dish.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 500 g
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Onion - half
- Lemon juice - 50 ml
- Olive oil - 50 ml
- Hop-suneli - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the gooseberries in a saucepan with water and boil for 5 minutes.
Rub the soft berries through a sieve.
Mix the resulting puree with the remaining broth, oil and lemon juice.
Peel onion and garlic, finely chop.
Put the berry stock, onion, garlic, suneli hops and salt in the blender bowl. Puree until smooth.
