Classic tomato ketchup has been familiar to everyone for a long time, so I like to experiment with ingredients. For example, here is a variant of red currant. Even if you've tried it once, you definitely won't find one in the store.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 1 kg
- Onion - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Sugar - 200 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Randomly chop the vegetables and fry until soft.
Chop the currants with a blender and grind through a sieve.
Chop the vegetables in the same way.
Add the remaining ingredients, mix everything together and boil the ketchup over low heat to the desired density.
