Homemade ketchup made from fresh tomatoes without questionable store additives, healthy and delicious in itself. But it can be made even more useful and at the same time more piquant. I really like to add ginger to ketchup, and then I'll tell you more about it.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass tomatoes with garlic and onions through a meat grinder or chop with a blender.
Rub the mass through a sieve, bring to a boil and cook for about an hour on low heat until thick.
Grind ginger and lemon pulp in a blender. Send it to ketchup.
Add the remaining ingredients and boil the ketchup for another 20 minutes.
If desired, rub it through a sieve again.
