Classic cheese sauce is made from hard cheese. But personally, I really like to use fused. It gives a smoother, more uniform and viscous texture. This sauce will easily combine any dish. For example, it is very good with pasta or mushrooms.
Ingredients
- Milk - 2 glasses
- Processed cheese - 100 g
- Parmesan (grated) – 0.75 glasses
- Butter - 60 g
- Basil - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 2 pinches
- Nutmeg - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Melt the butter.
Pour in the milk and bring to a boil, stirring.
Add both types of cheese and cook the sauce until smooth.
Add spices and remove it from the heat.
