Only cabbage puffs can be better than cabbage pies. And all because they are very easy and quick to prepare – even beginners can cope. For flavor and a more interesting taste, be sure to sprinkle them with cumin.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 300 g
- Cabbage - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Cumin - 1 art.l.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a coarse grater and stew the vegetables until they decrease in volume. Season to taste.
Cut the dough into rectangles and make several incisions on one side of each.
Lay out the filling, fold the puffs and press the edges with a fork.
Brush the dough with beaten egg, sprinkle with cumin and bake the puffs for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
