Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish, and it's also something between a salad and a snack. It all depends on which recipe you follow. Today I want to share my favorite version with green onions.
Ingredients
- Peking cabbage - 1 head
- Corn Starch - 3 art.l.
- Green onion - 1 bundle
- Bell pepper - 300 g
- Chili pepper - 200 g
- Ginger (root) – 2 cm
- Garlic - 5 teeth
- Coriander - 1 tsp.
- Fish sauce - 50 ml
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 4 art.l.
- Water - 2 glasses
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Coarsely chop the Peking cabbage, add salt and leave for 40-60 minutes.
Mix water with starch and heat it so that it thickens a little.
Chop pepper, chili, ginger and garlic in a blender or mince.
Chop the green onion.
Wash the cabbage, dry it and add all the other ingredients to it.
Pour in the cooled water and leave the salad to marinate. Ideally, at least for a day.
