You can serve green borscht with boiled eggs. And you can add an egg even at the stage of cooking the first dish – for a thicker texture and a brighter taste. Further in the recipe I will tell you how and when to do it correctly.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the pork until tender, strain the broth and return the meat to it.

Add chopped potatoes to the broth.

Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots and fry for 3-5 minutes over medium heat. Put it in a saucepan.

Boil 2 hard-boiled eggs, cut them into curbs and also send them to the soup.

Add 1 liquid protein, stirring constantly.

Add the crushed sorrel and spices, bring the green borscht to a boil and remove from the heat.
