I've tried many recipes for green tomatoes. Some seemed to me too spicy, others too sour. This version of the salad was obtained through long-term experiments. The ideal amount of spices, salt and sugar is selected here.
Ingredients
- Green tomatoes - 1 kg
- Korean carrots - 300 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Greenery - halfpuchka
- Apple cider vinegar - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 3 tbsp.l.
- Adjika - 1 tbsp.l.
- Zira - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the green tomatoes and cut into quarters.
Peel the onion and cut it into thick half rings.
Chop the greens and peeled garlic.
Mix green tomatoes, Korean carrots, onions, garlic and herbs.
Add adjika, salt, sugar, cumin, vinegar and vegetable oil. Stir and put away for 10-12 hours in a cool place.
