Delicious and simple recipe for your favorite Greek salad. Please note that shallots are used instead of onions. It has a milder taste with light sweet notes. The rest of the recipe is close to the classic.
Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes - 200 g
- Cucumbers - 150 g
- Bell pepper (medium) – 1 piece
- Iceberg lettuce - 2 leaf
- Shallots - half
- Feta - 150 g
- Olives - 100 g
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
- Olive oil - 3 art.l.
- Oregano - to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, peeled shallots and bell peppers.
Tear the salad leaves into small pieces with your hands.
Mix vegetables, feta, olives and salad leaves.
Add oregano, salt, ground black pepper, lemon juice and olive oil. Gently mix the salad with special tongs.
