Smoked meats perfectly set off legumes in any form. Today I propose to cook such a soup-puree with dried peas and red lentils. And for a change, we will do it not on the stove, but in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Peas - 150 g
- Lentils - 100 g
- Smoked meat - 200 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas overnight. Send it to the slow cooker and cook in the "Soup" mode for 90 minutes.
After 40 minutes, add the washed lentils, chopped smoked meats and vegetables.
Cook the soup until the end of the program and season to taste. Serve with herbs and fried bacon.
