This soup-puree is prepared so quickly and easily that any beginner can cope. It closely intertwines notes of Spanish and Italian cuisines. If desired, decorate it with cream and herbs or sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes (in its own juice) – 800 g
- Water - 500 ml
- Cream - 200 ml
- Italian herbs - 2 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Garlic - 6 teeth
- Basil - 1 bundle
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Onion - 2 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the onion and garlic, and fry until golden.
Chop the tomatoes in a blender and add to the onion.
Add water, bring the soup to a boil and add all the spices.
Cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
Add cream and chopped or dried basil in a blender.
Boil for another 3 minutes and remove the soup from the heat.
