Ingredients
- Beef (clipping) – 1 kg
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Flour - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l .
- Tomato sauce - half a glass
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Water (filtered) – 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the beef, dry it thoroughly with paper towels and cut it.
Peel the onion from the husk and chop.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, pour in the beef and brown well on all sides.
Add the chopped onion and continue to fry over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle evenly with flour, stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, bay leaf, salt and pepper mixture ground in a mortar.
After 5 minutes, pour in hot water, cover with a lid and simmer for 1 hour on low heat.
