Mashed potato soup turns out to be much tastier and more interesting than it seems at first glance. Especially if you supplement it with spices and leeks. When I want something more spicy and piquant, I also add a chili pod.
Ingredients
- Potatoes - 700 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Leek - 2 stems
- Butter - 30 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Cream (20%) – 200 ml
- Hot red pepper - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the potatoes until tender, drain the liquid, but do not pour it out yet.
Grate the carrots, finely chop the leeks and fry in butter.
Pour cream, bring to a boil and send the roast to the potatoes.
Puree everything with a blender, bring the potato broth to the desired consistency and season.
