Lovers of spicy will surely like such an unusual borscht with chili. Thanks to spices, it even acquires light oriental notes. To enhance this effect, add a handful of thinly sliced pickled ginger before serving.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Sauerkraut - 200 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Beetroot - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Bow purple - 1 piece
- Chili pepper - 2 pieces
- Ginger (grated) – 2 tsp.
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Cilantro - 5 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the chicken until tender and add the sliced potatoes.
Rinse and squeeze the sauerkraut. Grate carrots and beets with ginger, chop onion, garlic, chili and cilantro.
Fry the onion, carrot and beetroot until soft. Add the cabbage and fry for a couple more minutes.
Add chili, garlic and ginger, mix and send to the potatoes.
Cook the borscht until the potatoes are ready, season and add chopped coriander.
