My neighbor cooks amazing cabbage rolls in a frying pan. The whole entrance hears an appetizing aroma, but she only told me the recipe for this dish. Today I am happy to share it with you. Prepare a cast iron frying pan!
Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 1 head
- Meat broth - 600 ml
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Tomato paste - 5 tbsp.l .
- Salt - to taste
- Minced pork - 300 g
- Fig - 1 glass
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut out the stalk and put the cabbage in a saucepan with boiling water.
Periodically remove the cabbage from the pan and remove the leaves with a fork. Repeat the steps until you remove all the appropriate leaves.
Rinse the rice under running water, put it in a deep bowl and pour boiling water for 15 minutes.
Peel and slice the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Fry onions and carrots in a preheated frying pan with oil until golden brown.
Select half of the roast for the filling, add tomato paste, broth, allspice and salt to the rest. Boil for 10 minutes.
Mix the minced meat, rice, egg, roast, ground black pepper and salt.
Put some filling on the edge of the cabbage leaf and roll it into an envelope. Repeat the procedure with the remaining leaves.
Put the cabbage rolls in a large frying pan, pour in the tomato roast, cover with a lid and simmer for 50 minutes over low heat.
Leave the finished cabbage rolls under the lid for another 15 minutes.
