Classic Jewish kugel is made from noodles with egg and goose fat. But I suggest a more versatile and everyday recipe – with pasta and ordinary butter. It turns out a very satisfying main dish for the whole family.
Ingredients
- Pasta - 300 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Sour cream - 1 glass
- Cottage cheese - 250 g
- Butter - 120 g
- Cream cheese - 120 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the pasta until tender.
Whisk eggs with melted butter and cream cheese.
Add sour cream and spices to the same place. If the mass is too thick, add milk.
You can add chopped mushrooms, ham or fried minced meat to the kugel.
Mix everything together, put it in a mold and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
