Recently cooked turkey and brown rice pilaf. My household liked the dish so much that we unanimously decided to add it to the list of favorite recipes. I advise you to cook in a saucepan, and at the end, be sure to insist for 15-20 minutes under the lid.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the rice and soak it in cold water for half an hour.

Wash the turkey fillet, dry it with a paper towel and cut it.

Chop the carrots and peeled onions.

Peel the garlic and lightly crush it with the handle of a knife.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add onions, carrots and fry until golden brown.

Add turkey fillet, cumin, allspice and black pepper. Fry for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in hot water, add salt and boil for 15 minutes.

Add the washed rice, garlic cloves, cover and cook over low heat for another half hour.

Pepper the finished pilaf and leave it to infuse under the lid for 20-30 minutes.

When serving, add chopped parsley to the plate.
